I find it hard to believe they would transport Bitumen and not refine it first. It is very inefficient to transport over 1000s of kilometers to refine although with as cheap as natural gas is, I can see the USA pumping Natural gas north, then blending it with bitumen and sending it south, although that is a very, very sophisticated and high risk gas pipeline and not an oil pipeline. Natural gas pressure would make for a far cheaper pumping solution to an oil pipeline at least at current NG costs. As long as the pipeline was buried I would have no problems with it cross my farm land, assuming I was compensated, yearly and got a fair transport fee, and a security/environmental bond was posted for clean up. I think Americans opposing this are ludicrous. If they were mislead and Bitumen/NG is being pumped, then clearly the leases and rights of way of have to renegogiated. Ex for the Chinese, Canada tar sands are a stupid project that uses far too much water and is far too expensive. LNG can be cheaply converted to gasoline or used to power plants. The big Anglo-Zionists of London must have a lot of money in this project. The pipeline route is badly need to free Bakken oil from the horrible bottleneck at the Cushing Oklahoma hub. The USA must severely limit and tax the export of LNG and Oil to China to balance trade, but we must balance trade with China or perish. No reason the people along the pipeline route should not share in that tax for their cooperation.
